Resource Store
Use the Resource Store section to configure the files that will be treated as "big data" by xSuite Bus Prism. Big data refers to items that exceed a specified size. Items such as these would cause the database to grow too quickly and would have an adverse impact on the database’s performance.
In the File Data Path field, specify a directory. Such files will then be stored in that directory rather than in the database. We recommend that you store big data in a network attached storage (NAS) in order to avoid additional load on the server and the database server. Users can access this storage location via UNC path by means of a network connection and the corresponding authorizations.
Use the Trigger File Bytes (BLOB as File) to indicate the minimal required size of the item (in particular, image files) to be considered and treated as big data. Such items will be stored in the directory you have specified instead of in the database.
xSuite Group GmbH recommends that you treat files amounting to over 10,485,760 bytes (equaling 10 megabytes) as big data. Therefore, the default value is "10485760".
The maximum value is "52428800" (equals 50 megabytes).
