You can create adapters to enable data connections external to xSuite Bus Prism. This is useful, for instance, when importing data from third-party systems or exporting data to external systems or file formats.

The Adapters tab offers options for configuring data connections. You can configure any number of different data connections for a project. The SAP and Web Service adapter types are read-only, whereas the Database and File types support both reading and writing.

Write access to database systems is subject to authorization. If the database user has not been granted write access, the defined write action will fail. Consult your administrator to ensure you are granted all necessary authorizations.
