The "ArchiveCopy" tool

The "Archive Copy" tool copies an archive locally or to another server.

Parameters

Description

Archive

Source archive

Destination archive

Target archive

ArchiveService

If this parameter is set, the content and structure of the archive will be copied to another server. If the parameter remains empty, it will be copied locally. If you want to use a frontend login, set this parameter to the following value:

http://YourComputer/xFlowArchiveProxy/ServiceProxyService.svc/proxy/ArchiveService/

When logging in via User role on the other server:

http://YourComputer/ArchiveContentServices/ArchiveService.svc/

Replace YourComputer with the name of your server. If the target server works with SSL, use https://.

ServerUserName

If you copy an archive to another server, always use your user name on the other server. If you use a front-end login, the user name must also contain the domain (\\domain\user). For a local copy, this parameter can remain empty.

ServerPassword

Password matching the ServerUserName

ServerTenant

Tenant on the target server

Notice

This parameter only works with user roles and refers to the archive tenant. Tenants are not supported for frontend logins.

Indexing

Controls whether and in which way indexing is to be carried out in the target archive.

Bulk

Size of packet in which documents are transferred

Thumbsize

Size of thumbnails in target archive when indexing

Culture

Specifies the language or language variant used to log onto an external system (e.g., en-US).
