The "Legal" tool
The "Legal" tool sets or removes legal characteristics (e.g., Legal hold and Retention).
The tool processes a list of document references that are to be edited. All changes are only written to the administration database. This does not change the documents in the archive.

Remove | If this property is set, legal features are removed. To remove retentions, the feature must be set in the Retention parameter. |
Retention | If this property is set, a retention will be set or removed. |
Marker | If this property is set, a legal hold will be set. |
Date | Legal hold of expiration date or retention date |
