Deleting documents

Single or multiple documents can be deleted. When you delete a document, only the selected version will be deleted. If only the latest version is displayed in the hit list, you can only delete one version at a time. Only when you have deleted all versions of a document will the document be permanently removed from the archive. In this case, all links from folders to this document will also be removed.

  1. Open the Archive section.

  2. In the sidebar, click on the name of an archive.

    ➣ The documents in the archive will appear in the hit list.

  3. Click on prism_archive_mehrfachauswahl_icon.png ToggleMultiSelect.

    ➣ Multiple selection has now been activated. Checkboxes are displayed in the hit list.

  4. Activate the checkboxes for the documents that are to be deleted.

  5. Click on prism_archive_loschen_icon.png Delete selected documents.

    ➣ A security prompt will open.

  6. Click on Yes.

    ➤ The selected documents have now been deleted.

    ➤ The user and the time of deletion have been noted in the version history and in the audit trail.
