Example: Setting query restriction for an index

In the following example, users with the role xFlow::Archive::LegalHold are only meant to see documents that have the value Customer01 in the field Customer name.

  1. Open Encore administration.

  2. Under Permissions → Indexes, click on an existing index.

  3. In the Main tab, click on archive_hinzufuegen_button.png Add group.

    ➣ The Restrictions tab has now been added.

  4. Click on prism_archive_hinzufugen_icon.png Restriction

    ➣ A new grouping will be added.

  5. Select the value Query from the drop-down list Type.

  6. In the field Role, select the role xFlow::Archive::LegalHold.

  7. Enter the value Field.s_Customer_name:Customer01 in the field Rule.

  8. Click prism_archive_speichern.png Save.

    ➤ The restrictions have now added to the index.
