Workflow Tasks and Work Items

Once documents have been received and validated, you can direct them to the workflow to clarify discrepancies in price, quantity, etc.

The standard workflow in Orders consists of preconfigured workflow tasks. Each workflow task is linked to a role. The role can be used to find the responsible user in agent determination.

Documents that are located in an open workflow are described as work items.

Work items are available in the SAP GUI, xSuite Web, and SAP Fiori.

Only those work items which are in the workflow task "Select approvers," "Approve document," "Change document," or "Release document" can be accessed in xSuite Web and SAP Fiori.
